Diary – November 1st

It was a lovely start to the day with blue skies. Came up the lane with the sun just about to appear over the hills.

We spent the morning doing housework.

After lunch we went out for a drive towards Hambleton and bagged some geocaches.

Came home and found mice have attacked my leaf-blower. A quick search showed spares might be awkward to come by. 😦

Went out to get chinese take-away for tea. At Croston I stood waiting for 10 minutes without the lady behind the counter talking to me and overheard someone say they gad been waiting an hour, so went to shop on High St. Also looked very busy. Does everyone in Garstang have Chinese take-away on a Saturday?? So proceeded to Booths and got some frozen meals and returned home.

Made a fire and we watched a Lewis on TV.
