Diary  – April 17th 2015

my first day as a former employee of Lancaster University…

Weather was dry and sunny but cold.

My LU email worked until lunchtime when it stopped without any warning.

Spent the morning going over the paperwork to apply for job seekers allowance. What a faff!!

Had SNE lunch and decided to go out with the hedge trimmer. Went along the whole street length trying to tidy it up a bit without doing the whole thing.

Didn’t take as long as expected so decided to go out for a run. Just the short loop but it was hard work. More jogging than I want timed it just right to run past school Just as everyone was leaving. A few kids smiled at me. Smiling at my distress, perhaps? Or my rubbish singing?

Didn’t feel too bad when I got home.

After tea we went out to

The village auction. Was a good evening. We bought some wine, a lamb dinner and a PT session and won a keg of beer in

The raffle.

Came home and arranged with friends to visit for Sunday lunch.
