Diary – 25th August 2015

I had some weird dreams over night. I woke up at one point and was sure I was sleeping outside but couldn’t find my watch and wondered how I would know when to get up. I was staring at my alarm clock.

So I did get up at 7.20am. Walked to the village for the paper, came back and had breakfast with Naomi and when she left I retreated upstairs, read the paper and took my BP. Then up to my office to do my job search and some scanning for my connect group.

Then it was about time to drive down to garstang for my appointment at the health centre. It was with the nurse to take a blood sample to check my kidneys and the level of creatinine. Also left her with some printouts of my BP readings which appear to show BP hasn’t fallen over three months. A friend from scorton was also at the surgery so we chatted before and after my appointment.

Came home. Made another batch of newspaper briquettes:

After lunch I decided to go for a walk up Nicky Nook now that I can exercise again. 20 minutes to the top. We’re fortunate to live so close to open countryside. From the top followed the path down Grizedale to make a loop and then home. Took 1 1/2 hours.

Cooked mince for tea, spiced up with two homegrown chillies.
