Diary – 7th September 2015

So, back to work. It was a chilly morning. Down to school in good time for an 8am start.

Children arrived at early birds club in different order to normal which was a bit strange. Asked to tell children NOT to take bags into school before the bell.

Came home, read paper. Confused by an email from someone who thought village bible study was happening so busied myself around house in case they called.

Gave up about 1130am and went out. Drove to Churchtown to do a geocache. Found it easily. Then drove back to C&C. Hoped they might have some polythene sheeting and wanted to see what they had in the way of electric screwdrivers. Shop assistant said they sell something called visqueen. Power tools are kept behind the counter so the only way to see them is to talk to staff.

Came home and had lunch.

Did some more gardening for an hour or so, did another rowing session. Tried racing against my last session and beat it!!

Then made tea. Marrow stuffed with mince.

After tea we watched TV and I sent a few emails.
