Diary – 22nd September 2015

another dry morning. Early birds was outside all the time and was very calm.

Came home and did my usual things and then kept myself busy through the morning doing exciting things like laundry :-). But also pickled some mini-cucumbers grown in our greenhouse

And made some more newspaper briquettes.

After lunch I was down at the school for listening to readers. We were a bit better organised than last week and I think I had time for six or so children.

Came home and had some time to potter before heading out again, in car this time, to a NISCU encouragement evening at Capernwray. A tasty 3-course meal: soup, chicken and sticky toffee pudding before a time of worship / sharing /prayer. Finished shortly after 9pm and headed home.

Bed shortly after 10pm.
