Diary – 18th October 2015

Managed to stay in bed a bit late, then got up, had breakfast and did a few chores before leaving at about 9.30pm.

Drove to Lancaster and parked at Moorlands. Walked down to LBC. Helped setting up Lighthouse before service started. During service we had a slot to talk about our connect groups and I talked about “sermon bingo” to everyone’s amusement. Lighthouse was fun as we were doing cooking. Nothing too difficult, just cookies with carrot and courgette.

Didn’t stay long after service before driving home. We had sausage whirls for lunch.

Very soon afterwards we were out again. Drove down to village and met others for a meeting to talk about messy church and other child-related events. A good meeting. Lasted maybe an hour and a half. Then we drove home.

Spent the afternoon indoors, watched a bit of rugby. Naomi went out for the evening, I practiced guitar a bit and watched more TV and got a roaring fire going.
