Diary – 13 March 2016

At least I got a bit of a lie-in today. Didn’t get out of bed until 7.45am.

Left house at 9am to drive to Lancaster. Stopped to,pick up Kevin and then got space right outside LBC.

AV set up was easy and all went fine during service.

Then we had a church lunch. Food was simple – make your own sandwiches. Then we had a series of talks / challenges about our church vision. Including me talking about connect groups.

Finished by 2pm and then I drove home.

Naomi decided we should go for a walk up Nicky nook. Only disappointment was the mist which meant views as we climbed weren’t very good. From top we came down Grizedale and then down Tithebarn lane.

Came home and just enough time for me to have a drink and snack before walking down to village for evensong at St Peter’s. Stopped to chat to Gillian on way down.

Nice service with good sermon about church vision. I did NT reading. And a piano and guitar recital afterwards with wine and cake. So chatted with people.

Walked home for about 8pm and had a bit of tea before Naomi came home at 9pm.
