Diary – 25th March 2016

Good Friday.

Did sleep in a little bit.

Got up, went for papers, came home and had breakfast and read paper.

Then packed.

Walked down to Methodist chapel for good Friday service. That was followed by a walk of witness with the cross to the church field.

Came home, Naomi found a ferret, we think, in the garden.

We left it with a step to get out.

Drove to Lancaster, parked at Park Square and walked to railway station. Ate lunch on platform.

Caught 1439 to London. Wifi wasn’t working, Virgin on Twitter weren’t very helpful. Lots of free drinks and a snack.

Got to Euston and took underground to Waterloo then a 1/4 hour wait for a train to Motspur Park. Walked from there to New Malden to Watchman pub. Had a drink by ourselves before others arrived. I had a mixed grill (which I forgot to photograph!). A nice evening with friends.

Mathangi gave us a lift to Naomi’s parents’ house in her new BMW 218. Lots of funky lights inside.

And bed shortly after 11pm.
