Diary – 12th April 2016

2nd alarm at 6.45am and I’m straight out of bed, breakfast and down to school. I thought forecast was for a wet morning but it wasn’t raining.

Just two children at early birds until gone 8.30am – jack and penny. We didn’t stay indoors for very long.

Came home, read paper and then had some tidying up round fireplaces to do.

Chimney sweep arrived at 11am. Showed home round including our damp chimney breast and then he was happy to get on by himself so I retreated to my office and was able to ge on with a few things. He finished at about 12.30pm and said he would be back to do other repairs.

Had lunch and then back down to school for reading with Grizedale class. Went well.

Came home. Collapsed for a while.

Cooked sea bass for tea.

Evening out at OMF prayer meeting. I noticed that most people were using a tablet or computer to read the letters rather than paper copies. 🙂

Home for about 10pm, feeling tired.
