Diary – 23rd April 2016

A bit of a lie-in and then up and down to shop for papers.

Came home, had breakfast, read paper before Naomi got up.

A nice morning so we cycled into Garstang and locked up bikes outside B&S. Naomi went to Pilates class.

I walked up High St looking in Windows and then headed to Booths for tea and cake. Then walked over to Aldi to check out latest offers. And back to B&S and only had to wait a minute before Naomi  came out of class.

Decided to go for ride further. Along main road south and turned off onto Calder Lane and then Bruna Hill, over canal and motorway and turn right onto Sandholme Lane. And eventually arrived at Inglewhite where we stopped for lunch at the pub. I had fish and chips. Enormous fillet of fish, but very tasty. Approx 45 minute stop and then came home along roads more easterly and ended up on Higher Lane which meant a struggle up the hill at the bottom of Grizedale!!

I made some scones in the afternoon to use up some of the milk from the milk lake in our fridge 🙂

In the evening we went to a concert at the village hall with Woody Holler and his orchestra. From Canada.
