Diary – 8th May 2016

Another lie-in til 8am. Get up, breakfast and then out at 9am and drive to Lancaster. Parked on Dalton Square and then walked to LBC.

My turn to do AV. It was an easy week. Half a dozen songs which were all the sort that go from beginning to end and then maybe repeat, no ppt for the sermon. A meeting after the service for everyone involved in lead worship was basically to fix a probelem of mis-communication witching the musicians about changing musicians. And then drive home.

Roast pork for lunch.

We walked down to village to get ice-creams from the Barn. Sat in playing fields to eat them befor walking back up hill.

Walked back down to village for choral evensong at 6pm. Service and then music from organist on organ and then piano. Was a much more relaxed atmosphere than previous months. Helen came because I put a flyer through her door. Had a good chat with a couple called Paul and Ruth.

Came home and was very quickly in bed.
