Diary – 24th June 2016

Alarm woke me up at 6.45am. Got up, checked iPhone and found referendum result.  Vote leave have won. Stunned. Breakfast and then walk down hill.

As soon as first children arrived at Early Birds it started raining so we moved indoors. Was fairly quiet. Mrs hesketh got the boys tidying up. It was dry enough to go out at 8.40am.

Came home, read paper and watched TV. And that was it for most of the morning. Watched as events unfolded.

Had lunch, walked back down to school and went on coach for swimming lesson.

Was back a bit later so didn’t have time for a drink before driving up to Calder Vale for minibus run. Just one child -Emily. So a short run but slow as we were stuck behind a slow tractor.

Came home, did some new German lessons.

Naomi came home just as I was getting ready to go out.

Drove to Lancaster for LBC men’s night at Kevin’s house. Not as many as the last time he did one.

Came home about 10pm and had a beer before bed.
