Diary – 29th June 2016

Alarm woke me at 6.46am.

Weather looked OK while I was having breakfast. It was dry as I walked down.

But as soon as it got to 8am it started to rain. Holly and Penny were in the playground before me. It rained all the time but we stayed outside.

Walked up to church for morning prayer meeting.

Came home and read paper for a while, played some guitar. Did a load of laundry. Watched the rain coming down hard.

Sandwiches for lunch.

Watched some of Wimbledon before heading down to village for Jam club.

Bit of a wild session as kids had not been outdoors all day. So session was a bit noisy and unruly but we sort of acted out the story of Peter being freed from jail by God.

Home for 5pm by which time weather was much improved and Naomi was out in garden.

Cooked sausages in oven for tea.

Then drove to Lancaster.

Guitar lesson at 7pm. Covered a lot.

And on to connect group at Karen’s. Didn’t finish until almost 10pm.

Drove home, quick drink and then bed.
