Diary – 17th December 2016

Woke at 6.45am and took a few seconds to remind myself it was a Saturday. Slept until 7.45am and then again almost jumped out of bed to go to work. But got up at a leisurely pace.

Cold and foggy for walk to shop. Came home with paper and had breakfast in snug.

Naomi got up and went out to Pilates class. I put lights on tree and outside round front door. Then did a 10km row. Under 45 mins again.

Sound and bread for lunch.

At 3pm we walked down  to village for Messy Church. Chapel was very busy with preparations. Started at 4pm and there were loads of people. At tea-time i counted 46. Don’t think we’ve ever had that many before. Helped to clear up and then came home.

Watched end of Strictly and then Michael McIntyre.
