Diary – Wednesday 19th April 2017

Up at 6.45am, breakfast and out at 7.45am.

At Early Birds there were quite a lot of children in the library. We went out at 8.20am and it was a lot calmer.

When I finished at school I went over to the church for the prayer meeting. An interesting thought: Jesus said “Go and make disciples” so when the the church turn it into “Come to us”?

Went from there to chapel to meet Ruth and Jane to talk about next Open the Book assembly.

And home  at last.

Spent most of morning in office on email and then sorting stuff for jam club.

Walked back to village and took Pluto for a walk.

Came home and had lunch.

Finalised jam club and then it was time to go.

Down to shop to collect donuts then to chapel to set up and to school to escort children. Diana opted out as children upset. Only 9 children. Went ok doing the Easter story.

Home for 5pm. Fish fingers for tea.

Out again shortly after 6pm.

Drove to Lancaster and parked next to music spot. Went for a quick walk to buy a bottle of whisky.

To music spot for guitar lesson. Started early as no earlier student. It was hard work.

And then on to connect group at Karen’s house. We looked at the book of Jude for a while before prayer time. Finished shortly after 9pm.

Drove home, poured a whisk or two and watched Tv before bed.
