Diary – Friday 19th May 2017

Up at 6.45am, breakfast and out at 7.45am.

Dry, but cloudy and chilly. What the heck, kept Early Birds outside. It was fairly quiet.

Round to vicarage to do pewsheet copying and a bit of a chat with Anton. Then walk home via two chapels.

Read paper.

Got changed and drove down to village and did a run along Millennium Way. Two minutes faster than last time.

Drove home, showered and dressed and The walked down to village and took Pluto for a walk.

Came home, had lunch. Heard tap, tap, looked at window and realised there was a swarm of hornets outside. Good job we have the pest controller coming round later! Had a rather anxious afternoon; couldn’t sit in snug. Did find one hornet in snug at one point.

Pest controller came at about 4pm. Sprayed powder. Hornets disappeared.

Naomi came.  We sat in snug for a while then went out to T’Owd Tithe Barn for tea. I had lasagne.

Came home, sat in snug. Watched HIGNFY, question of sport and Last Leg
