Diary – Friday 9th June 2017

Up at 6.45am, breakfast wa thing TV news and amazing election result. Out at 7.45am.

First at school. It was dry so I was straight outside. Alex arrived at 8am and we played tennis until other boys arrived. A really quiet morning; only 5 kids at 8.30am.

Stopped at vicarage to do pewsheet copying and then walked home via chapel.

Sat and read paper with TV on about election.

Did a bit of housework before going back to village to take Pluto for a walk.

Came home and had lunch.

And not long before I was out in car to Calder Vale. A full minibus for once but a bit late setting off. Didn’t get home untîl 4.30pm.

Got changed and set off on bike. rode to campus.  Average speed as far as Galgate was 25mph. Met Naomi on campus, turned round. Rode back to Galgate, onto canal, along Glasson branch as far as Cockerham Road and then home.

Left-overs for tea and evening in front of TV drinking beer trying to calm hay fever reaction.

Bedtime at 11pm.
