Diary – Wednesday 12th July 2017

Up at 6.45am and a slower routine until out at 7.45am.

Nice ŵeather, so Early Birds was outside. Girls were playing horse jumps. Boys wanted to play with parachute so they got it out and everyone joined in. Mrs P came out and told them to put it away.

And then on to prayer meeting. Smaller group than usual.

And home.

Sat and read paper.

BT engineer turned up, did some tests and said fault was elsewhere so he would return in a while. So I was a bit stuck.

The while turned out to be 2 1/2 hours by which time I had eaten lunch. Anyway, phone working again.

Walked down to village and took Pluto for a walk.

Home for a short while and then back to village for jam club. We talked about light and dark and our lights shining. Ruth led a craft. Went on rather late.

Home for tea of baked potato and tuna mayo.

And back down to village for my first school governors’ meeting. Bit of a non-event. Head of ripley school who was supposed t talk to us didn’t show up.

Home for 8pm.

Watched TV for rest of evening.
