Diary – Friday 7th September 2018

Up at 6.45am, breakfast and out at 7.40am.

Rain on the way down to school, had to towel my hair dry.

A quiet morning at Early Birds. 6 kids at 8.30am.

Round to vicarage to copy pewsheets, walk round churches and home before 10am.

Had a quick tea to read paper then spent a while doing housework and packing for weekend away.

Rain had stopped in time to take Pluto for a walk round block.

And off to Calder Vale school. No changes to children on minibus. Wasn’t driving noticeably slowly but didn’t get home until almost 4.45pm.

Naomi came back from work and after a bit of changeover we left house at about 6pm.

Naomi drove us to Stoke and we found Mothertown chippy for tea. Sat inside to eat. Very nice – batter much crisper and drier than our usual. Naomi carried on driving to Cherwell where we changed drivers. Arrived at Tolworth at about 11.30pm and after a quick chat went to bed.
