Diary – Thursday 13th September 2018

Up at 6.45am, breakfast and out at 7.40am.

Early Birds was easier. About a dozen kids.

Dennis and Ruth collected me and we drove up to CAlder Vale school

Open the Book assembly doing the story of Samuel the kingmaker. I was narrator. Went very well.

Drove back to Scorton, tea break at Dennis and Ruth’s house.

And then up to St Peters for Scorton Open the Book assembly.

Walked Pluto round the block and home for lunch.

Phew, a busy morning.

And back down to school for after school club. Started with seventeen kids. Plan was to stay indoors but kids were so rowdy we decided we needed to take them out and we then stayed out for the full session. I think I’ve got a new best friend.

Came home, had some chicken for tea.

Had a long session in office tidying up inbox.

Watched Tv til bedtime.
