Diary – Sunday 30th September 2018

Slept soundly for 9 hours. Woke and got up at 8am.

Breakfast, prep for Lighthouse.

Left at 9.30am and drove to Lancaster. Roads were busy with parked cars, had to park on Moorlands.

In church for start of service then out for Lighthouse. A prayer then I led a game of pass the parcel then we had two tables of activities which didn’t last long as we were called back down to church. glen’s baptism. Chat and cake afterwards.

Came home. Naomi made roast lamb for lunch.

I went out and did hedge trimming until I couldn’t lift the trimmer any longer.

We went out for a walk. A loop by Cockersand Abbey and then across fields. Frequent showers but beautiful views of a rainbow that appeared to move towards us. It was getting dark by the time we returned to the car.

Drove home, sat in kitchen to eat some tea then retired to snug until bedtime.
