Diary – Wednesday 10th October 2018

Up at 6.45am, breakfast and out at 7.40am.

Children arrived at Early Birds from 8am, but only had a dozen. But boys were acting up.

Church prayer meeting. We sat in the choir stalls. Why?? Cut out a lot of the liturgy again which is much better. Then we moved to the back of the church, had teas and coffees and a brief churches together meeting. Which doesn’t involve much other than sharing dates. Then we walked up to the war memorial for a photograph with the new poppy plaque. After a bit of a chat went to do dog walking.

Another round the block walk with two dogs. I did better at not kicking Owl.

And home.

Did lawn mowing along Lane and behind dining room. Had a chat with Emma. She said Izzy misses me. 🙂 and then a bit more hedge trimming.

And down to village for after school club. I had half a dozen kids in the nature area for the first part. Snack was quite late and we finished early again.

Came home.

Tea was baked potato with left-overs.

Drove to Lancaster for connect group meeting. Only five of us. We started a series on Colossians by reading the whole letter with a few questions.

Drove home and sat in snug for a while before bed.
