Diary – Wednesday 17th October 2018

Up at 6.45am, breakfast and out at 7.40am.

Early Birds was busy and a bit chaotic.

Mrs H wanted a brief chat about after school club.

Then on to church for prayer meeting

And then a brief meeting in vicarage. I think I’ve agreed to do some pastoral visiting.

And home to read paper and check email.

Down to village to walk the dogs round the block.

And home for lunch.

And back down to village for after school club. I had eight older kids in playground for first part. Went OK. Indoors for snack, gained a few little ones but lost some of the older ones and finished a bit early again.

Pizza for tea by myself. A spicy Aldi one.

And then off to Lancaster for a meeting at LBC instead of connect group. Billed as a testimony evening. Lasted an hour. Maybe twenty there. I spoke about jobs and ‘replanting’. Naomi came in at end and after a bit more chat we walked up to car, loaded bike in boot and headed home.

Rest of evening in snug.
