Diary – Monday 22nd October 2018

Ah! Half term!!

Didn’t get out of bed until 7.45am. Just late enough to see Naomi before she went out to work.

A slow breakfast and ad of paper.

Then loaded car from garage for a trip to the tip. Drove to Salt Aire via motorway. Emptied boot and then drove into Lancaster. parked by LBC.

Over to Lloyds Bank to sort out some stuff I spent an hour on the phone last week before someone said it would be easiest to visit a branch. Seems like branches don’t have anything better than customers over the phone. Took the best part of an hour to do what I wanted. Good job as I only paid for an hour’s parking.

Drove back to Scorton. Stopped in village and took two dogs for a walk round block.

Drove home, hung out laundry, stopped for lunch.

Got changed and cycled down to Garstang to collect prescription. Small diversion on way there to find our ex-neighbours’ new house.

Came home and sat with a tea for a while.

Did a row. Just. 5km but felt long. Faster than my last row.

Naomi came home, I made fajitas for tea.

We sat in the snug, watched TV and then played scrabble online.
