Diary – Saturday 20th October 2018

Even though it’s Saturday I had to have an early start so alarm rang at 6.45am.

Up, breakfast and a brisk walk to shop for newspaper.

And then into car and a drive down motorway to Burnley. At least road was quiet so early in morning.

Arrived in good time for course starting at 9.30am. Eight of us on a course called Chairs course for governors. Lots of interesting stuff. Finished a little bit early at 1150.

Drove straight home.

We drove down to Daisy Clough for lunch. Saw Dave and Angie there. I had a chicken burger.

Came home and went out to garden. Collected leaves and tidied up prunings.

Came in to watch football results. A good set of results for the Boro.

Sat in snug for evening.
