Diary – Sunday 28th October 2018

Clocks went back overnight so we were awake early.

Very tasty cooked breakfast.

We walked up Skiddaw. It was a lovely walk to start with, not too cold and in sunshine. On top it was very windy and the grass was icy but not path. Our descent was along a very steep slippery track initially. Back in town for about 2.30pm.

Stopped at a cafe and had a scone each. They were huge. Looked round shops before returning to room.

A quick change and out again. Visited Puzzling Place for a bit of a laugh.

Headed out again later to find evening food. Stopped at the Pack Horse Inn. I had a steak pudding, or was it a pie?

And back to hotel for an early night.
