Diary – Monday 19th November 2018

A very early start. Rob woke us at 5.30am with news that there were no trains running.

So we had a quick get-up and then just moved in car and drove to South Wimbledon for tube. I was surprised how busy roads were so early.

Tube was not very busy, even through central London.

Went for a short walk around side streets, everything being demolished for HS2.

Naomi caught 7.45 to Stoke.

I went to and American diner for breakfast, Ed’s. had a huge plate full called a Southern breakfast. An odd mix of sweet and savoury but very filling

And when I finished the waitress asked if I wanted another plateful!!

Caught train at 0930. Last seat in carriage had no window at all, but I did have two seats to myself. Went very slowly for a while somewhere round Rugby so arrived at Lancaster about 15 mins late.

Drove to Scorton and took Pluto and Owl for a walk round block.

Then back home briefly. Just about enough time to unpack, drink a cup of tea before walking down to school.

Jam club was a bit crazy. Sang, story and then craft was making a crown. And then after-school club which finished early.

A quiet evening at home. Did some email catch-up.
