Diary – Sunday 25th November 2018

Up at about 8am, breakfast.

Left at 9.30am and drove to Lancaster.

An advantage of the Christmas period is that Lancaster car parks are free, so parked on Nelson St.

A bit of prep upstairs, downstairs for service and back up with Lighthouse. We only had a short group time before doing Christmas crafts. I helped children making angels.

Then we had a church lunch. Really not many people there. Are frugal lunches not popular? Time for a good chat though.

Drove home. Walked down to village for Messy Church at chapel. Pleased to see a good number of people there. Sat with Dennis for most of the time. Craft time, short service and then tea. Naomi turned up while we were eating tea.

Headed home but took the long route via Tithebarn Lane.

Sat in snug for a while and then Naomi left to head to Stoke.

I watched Dr Who downstairs and then sat in the snug for the rest of the evening.
