Diary – Friday 30th November 2018

Up at 6.40am, breakfast and out at 7.40am

Same child arrived early for Early Birds but it was a quiet session with a few regulars missing.

In a change to routine, I went to take two dogs for a walk. We stuck to the round the block walk but got a bit wet.

Came home and moreorless straightaway jumped in car. Driving to Preston for car service. I checked the roads online before setting off but I got caught in a traffic jam on the M6 so only just got to garage in time for appointment.

Went for a walk and visited model railway shop, but weather wasnt good so I returned to showroom to sit and wait.

Car ready just after 1pm. Drove home via A6 but got stuck in queue behind two tractors so it was a slow drive.

Just time at home for a drink before heading up to Calder Vale.

Ha, no afternoon worship. Chatted to secretary for a while and then it was time to take kids home. Drove through some very heavy rain.

Stopped at vicarage on way home, copied pewsheets and delivered to three village churches.

Came home.

had some soup for tea, did some housework and waited for Naomi to arrive.

Sat in snug, shared a pizza and watched TV til bedtime.
