Diary – Monday 24th December 2018

Christmas Eve.

Up at 8am, walked down to shop and home for breakfast.

We left house at about 9.30am.

Driving to Middlesbrough. Roads were nice and quiet. Stopped at Kirkby Stephen for toilet and a walk.

Parked at house and walked to care home. Visited both Richard and Betty. Walked back to house, did some tidying.

Drove to Saltburn. Bought fish and chips and ate while walking along pier. Lovely and clear and calm sea. Then went for walk up to Hunt Cliff Nab.

Back to car and drove to Boosbeck via Skelton.

Spent a couple of hours there.

And then set off and headed home again with a stop at Kirkby Stephen.

Walked down to village for Midnight Mass.

which meant bedtime was almost 1am. Well past Santa time.
