Diary – 5th January 2015

Another dark but dry morning. Quick breakfast and then down the hill to school.

Chatted with Mrs Nayler for a while. Picked up new sign-in register and instructions / suggestions from head. Stay indoors, she says. So we did it was another quiet morning but by 8.30am we hit double figures. Went outside shortly after that.

Collected newspapers, walked back home, quick change of footwear and then drove Naomi to work.

Came home and then had a quiet time at home.

Back down to school at 2.15pm for listening to readers with Grizedale class. Only listened to 5 or 6 children.

Came home and had a while,at home before driving back to university to collect Naomi.

Came home (today’s favourite phrase!) and decided to do a row. Opted for a new challenge – a 10km row rather than 30 minutes. Managed it in just under 6 minutes.

Then made tea – minced lamb.

And watched TV for rest of evening.
